Open 9am-5pm, Mondays-Fridays, our advisors can:

•help you choose the right course for your future development and career

•advise about full-time and part-time courses available, and which mode of study would be best for you

•provide guidance on when and how to make an application

Support on your doorstep

Whether you need advice on money matters, practical help, or simply someone to listen to, we’re here to support you.

•We provide a wide range of financial support packages, including scholarships and bursaries to help ensure financial worries don’t hinder your study plans.  For example, if you excel at sport, you could be eligible for the Sports Achievement Scholarship – up to £3,000 for the length of your course. 

•Our new student centres provide all the information you need about student services from one convenient location with extended opening hours.

Little Scholars on-site nursery is run by a team of qualified nursery nurses and was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted.

•Our Student Enabling Centre supports students with sensory, physical or specific learning difficulties, providing advice and support such as note-takers, interpreters, specialist tutors, and advice on the Disabled Student’s Allowance.

Advanced facilities – whatever your subject

We’ve invested over £45 million in the last two years alone to ensure our facilities are world-class. Recent skyline-changing developments include:

•The Performance Hub is arguably one of the most advanced performing arts facilities in UK higher education. In addition to its industry-standard equipment and magnificent rehearsal and performance spaces, we can also claim All-Steinway School status.

•Our brand-new Rosalind Franklin science centre’s six storeys cover more than 6,000 square metres of floor space, supporting study and research in chemical, biological, forensic and pharmaceutical sciences. The Centre’s inspiring environment and specialist equipment will provide you with exceptional education and research opportunities.

•Work is underway on a new Business School, due to open in 2015. The £18m flagship building is taking shape at the heart of our Wolverhampton City Campus, right next to Wolverhampton Wanderers' Molineux Stadium. The six storey centre will house an executive education suite, innovative teaching and learning spaces, an IT suite, consulting rooms and a central social space and café.

•Our online library gives you access to e-resources, electronic books and over 8,000 journals and 100 databases anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day.

•With extended opening hours and selected 24-hour opening, you can access our Learning Centres at a time to suit you – whether you’re an early bird or a night owl. 

According to the 10th National Student Survey, our full-time LLB (Hons) students are happier than our local competitors at BCU (85%) and the University of Birmingham (83%) with an overall satisfaction rating of 90%. What’s more, our students are happier with access to library and IT resources too!

•The Students’ Union provides a wide range of entertainment to suit all tastes, including theme nights, comedy, karaoke and pub quizzes, as well as space to meet, relax and study!

Sport

We provide a comprehensive range of sports facilities across our campuses, whether you want to join a professional team or club or just let off some steam.

With a gym and weights room, sports hall, athletics track, grass and all weather pitches, netball and tennis courts and a dojo, our flagship Sports Centre at Walsall Campus is equipped to meet all your sport needs. It’s also a British Judo Centre of Excellence. Next door our on-campus swimming pool is the ideal place to work off any study stress, or simply enjoy a dip to unwind. 

At our Telford Campus you can burn some calories with new friends on the floodlit football pitch, tennis or basketball courts, or get the free university shuttle bus to Wolverhampton City Campus and head to the gym, functional training and conditioning rooms or sports hall. There’s also the new University Sports Zone: accessible to all students free of charge by swipe card, it’s open ‘til late, allowing you to round up some mates, grab a ball, and squeeze some fun and fitness into your day.

We also run a wide variety of classes too, from aerobics to Zumba – so however you prefer to get moving, you can join in!
