Over 250 Hult undergraduates, staff and faculty enjoyed a fabulous celebration of the academic year, culminating in an award ceremony recently.
Guests were wowed by the amazing venue owned by Sir Richard Branson. The Roof Gardens in Kensington has long been one of London’s most spectacular and extraordinary landmarks. Set 100ft above London, it comprises three gardens spanning across 1.5 acres, a private members club and its own flamingos!
Guests were treated to a BBQ, a 1930's ice cream and candy floss tricycle, photo booth caricaturist and various garden games – all leading up to the main event.
The awards were presented by Dr Melissa Willby, Dean Undergraduate Programs, and Sam Stephens, Executive Director, London undergraduate campus.
Dr Willby said:
“What a truly fabulous event in suitably elegant surroundings to match our students who were dressed to the nines! This event showcases the great caliber of student that Hult attracts and that makes the judging process was a really difficult one. It’s great to be able to celebrate and recognize achievements amongst our student body, staff and faculty – I’m proud of Hult.”

“This year we’ve had the amazing opportunity of delivering Xpress Magazine to all students, faculty and staff. After a lot of planning last year, we are now able to provide students and faculty a place where they can publish their content. Through this, we have managed to improve the student community, allowing students to showcase their talents.
From tips on how to dress to the latest on finance news. We are very pleased with the outcome, and the development.
We are very grateful that students voted for us on all of the categories. This is proves that we have been doing something right. We hosted an event for Valentine’s Day, Sweet Scape; and 200 students were able to attend. Xpress has been a satisfactory experience all along because it is a tangible result of our efforts. And the fact that our fellow students recognise that, is incredible.
We have more projects to come to keep expanding Xpress, and in doing so, give students the opportunity to be part of it. That has always, and will always be our aim: to create, connect and interact”.
Well done to all of those that were nominated.
